The project involved establishing a reliable high-speed network connection between two office buildings without laying physical cables. This was achieved using a point-to-point (PtP) wireless link.
Challenge: The client faced limitations with running traditional cabling due to physical obstructions and cost. They needed a stable and secure way to share network resources between buildings.
Solution: We implemented a point-to-point WiFi setup using directional antennas and network bridges, allowing both offices to function on a unified network with minimal latency and high throughput.
The wireless link exceeded our expectations – fast, stable, and implemented with zero disruption to our teams.
The point-to-point wireless network extension successfully provided a fast, stable, and secure connection between the two office buildings. Network performance matched that of a traditional wired setup, with minimal latency and over 99.9% uptime recorded during testing and usage. The client avoided the high costs and logistical challenges of trenching or laying fiber, making the solution both cost-effective and efficient. The setup is also scalable, allowing for easy expansion if future connectivity needs arise.
